This event was a well attended by doctors and students. Each of us was assigned to a legislator. we had appointments to explain how current legislation would affect the care of thousands of chiropractic patients throughout the state.

Next year, please join us. There is strength in numbers. Prior to the event there will be a briefing on the upcoming legislation and you will be given information packets to distribute while you are meeting with your legislator. And of course there is the ice cream social attended by the legislators and support staff after the appointments.

     Chiropractic care has proven successful for millions of people in relieving physical problems. I support the chiropractors' profession as well as other alternative healthcare modalities. I have been a long-time proponent of Eastern medicine and feel it definitely can help the body to heal. People need to have affordable access to Eastern care as well as Western care and I am committed to helping the health care industry in whatever way I can when I become an Assemblyperson.
